Kayak Pro: Free App Of The Week

Kayak Pro - one of the popular travel apps for iPhone and iPad is available for free this week.

Kayak allows you to search for cheap flights, hotels and car rentals, and compare deals right on your iOS device.




Kayak Pro also includes the following features:

• Context-aware notifications on the Home screen, which means that you are reminded about the next important event in your trip

One of the features that we really like is Kayak's Hacker Fares, which was introduced last year. Here's how it works: If you're looking for a roundtrip fare from location X to location Y, and the best price for a ticket on Airline A is $500, then Kayak will also show you the fares for two one-way fares on Airline A and Airline B, which may be cheaper.

Kayak Pro has a very simple and intuitive user interface, which makes it a breeze to search for flights, hotels and car rentals on your iPhone and iPad.

Kayak Pro is the ad-free version of the Kayak app (which seems to have been pulled from the App Store due to the App of the week promotion). It also comes with airport terminal maps that is not available in the free version. Kayak Pro is usually available for $0.99 in the App Store.
