iPhone 5 Lines Have Already Started

iPhone 5 lines have already started with just four days to go for official launch.

Apple started taking iPhone 5 pre-orders on Friday and sold out it's iPhone 5 stock for launch day delivery in less than an hour and is currently quoting delivery estimates of 2-3 weeks.

Delivery estimates for new iPhone 5 pre-orders have also slipped by more than a week on Verizon and AT&T is quoting shipping estimates of 14-21 business days.

So one way to get your hands on Apple's new iPhone 5 is to line up early outside an Apple retail store. Fortune reports that the iPhone 5 line has already started outside Apple's flagship Fifth Avenue store in New York City. Fortune reports that the first and second person in the line set up camp at 8:00 am on Thursday. But they have an hidden objective of standing in the line, they are promoting their social media app.

Like last year, some are hoping to sell their spot for someone who doesn't have the patience but wants to be one of the first to get his/her hand on iPhone 5.

Some of you might call this crazy but Robert Scoble had aptly put it "waiting in line for an Apple product is glorious, even if it is idiotic."

Have you pre-ordered your iPhone 5? Are you getting it delivered or planning to line up early outside an Apple Store?
